Varese Sarabande has announced a new deluxe edition soundtrack album for the 1995 sci-fi horror movie Village of the Damned directed by John Carpenter and starring Christopher Reeve, Kirstie Alley, Linda Kozlowski, Michael Paré, Mark Hamill and Meredith Salenger. The 2-CD set features the film’s original music composed by John Carpenter (Halloween, The Fog, Big Trouble in Little China, Escape from New York) himself and Kinks guitarist Dave Davies, including the original score on the first disc and the content of the 1995 original soundtrack album, plus bonus tracks on the second disc.
