Club Champion has released a soundtrack album for the mini-series The Luminaries. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by David Long (6 Days, Ice, McLaren). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here. The Luminaries is written by Eleanor Catton based on his 2013 Man Booker Prize-winning novel, directed by Claire McCarthy and stars Eva Green, Himesh Patel, Eve Hewson, Ewen Leslie and Marton Csokas. The drama produced by Working Title Television and Southern Light Films is set in the 1860s during the gold rush and revolves around a woman who travels from Britain to New Zealand in search of a new life. The series premiered earlier this year in the UK on BBC One and in New Zealand on TVNZ1. No word on a domestic premiere date.
