Germaine Franco (Tag, Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Dope, Little, Someone Great) has recently scored the upcoming Netflix original film Work It. The movie is directed by Laura Terruso (Fits and Starts) and stars Sabrina Carpenter, Liza Koshy, Keiynan Londsdale, Drew Ray Tanner, Michelle Buteau and Jordan Fisher. The dance comedy follows a teenage girl who forms a ragtag group of dancers to take on the best squad in school to the get into the college of her dreams. Alison Peck (UglyDolls) wrote the screenplay. Leslie Morgenstein (You, The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl) and Elysa Koplovitz Duttont (Everything, Everything, The Sun Is Also a Star) are producing the project for Alloy Entertainment, alongside singer/songwriter Alicia Keys for A.K. Worldwide Productions. Work It will premiere on August 7, 2020 on Netflix.
Franco has also recently scored the third and final season of Starz’s Vida, which just finished its series run a couple of weeks ago.
