Tom Howe (A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Early Man, Professor Marston & the Wonder Women, Whiskey Cavalier) has composed the original score for the upcoming Disney Channel original movie Upside-Down Magic. The film is based on the Scholastic book series by Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Myracle & Emily Jenkins and stars Izabela Rose, Siena Agudong, Vicki Lewis, Kyle Howard, Elie Samouhi, Alison Fernandez and Max Torina. The movie directed by Joe Nussbaum (Sydney White, Sleepover) centers around a 13-year-old girl who discovers that she can flux into animals, and her best friend, and who can manipulate flames, as they enter Sage Academy for magical studies. Nick Pustay (Ramona and Beezus) and Josh Cagan (Kim Possible) wrote the script. Suzanne Farwell (The Intern, Carrie Pilby) and Susan Cartsonis (What Women Want, The Duff) are executive producing the project for Resonate Entertainment. Upside-Down Magic is set to premiere this summer on the Disney Channel.
Howe has also recently scored the Channel 4 docu-series Putin: A Russian Spy Story, which premiered this past March in the UK and is awaiting a domestic premiere date.
