Paul Haslinger (Underworld, Halt and Catch Fire, Crank, Death Race, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter) is composing the original music for the new Spectrum Originals series Paradise Lost. The show is created by Rodes Fishburne (Blood & Oil) and stars Josh Hartnett, Bridget Regan, Barbara Hershey, Nick Nolte, Gail Bean, Danielle Deadwyler, Shane McRae and Silas Weir Mitchell. The 10-part gothic mystery thriller follows a prodigal son as he returns to his hometown and struggles to choose between his past and his future. Fishburne is also executive producing the Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content with showrunner Arika Lisanne Mittman (Timeless), David Kanter (The End of the Tour), Jeff Okin (Good Girls Revolt), Romeo Tironas, as well as John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side, Saving Mr. Banks) who also directed the first episode. Paradise Lost will premiere next Monday, April 13 on on Spectrum’s On Demand platform.
As previously reported, Haslinger also has Paul W.S. Anderson’s fantasy action thriller Monster Hunter (currently scheduled to be released in theaters on September 4, 2020) coming up.
