Dustin O’Halloran (Lion, Transparent, Like Crazy, A Christmas Carol, The Art of Racing in the Rain) has been tapped to score the upcoming ABC drama For Life. The show is created by Hank Steinberg (Without a Trace, The Last Ship) and stars Nicholas Pinnock, Indira Varma, Joy Bryant, Mary Stuart Masterson, Boris McGiver, Glenn Fleshler, Dorian Missick, Tyla Harris and Timothy Busfield. The series is inspired by the life of Isaac Wright Jr. and revolves around a prisoner who becomes a lawyer litigating cases for other inmates while fighting to overturn his own life sentence for a crime he didn’t commit. Steinberg & Wright Jr. are also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television Inc. and ABC Studios production with Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Doug Robinson (The Goldbergs, Rules of Engagement) & Alison Greenspan (If I Stay, The Best of Me) and George Tillman Jr. (Men of Honor, Notorious). O’Halloran has previously collaborated with Tillman Jr. on 2018’s The Hate U Give. For Life will premiere on February 11, 2020 on ABC.

As previously reported, O’Halloran also has the features Ammonite and The Old Guard (both co-scored with Volker Bertelmann) coming up.
