Decca Classics has released the original song Home to You from the adventure drama The Aeronauts. The track is performed by Norwegian singer/songwriter Sigrid who also co-wrote the track with Steve Mac. The song is now available to download as a digital single on Amazon and is also featured on the official soundtrack album (which also includes Steven Price’s original score), which is also being released today. Listen to the full track after the jump. The Aeronauts is directed by Tom Harper and stars Eddie Redmayne, Felicity Jones, Tom Courtenay and Himesh Patel. The film was quite a thriller, with amazing special affects. But the song at the end was precious!… both the singing and the wonderful lyrics. I’d never heard of Sigrid, but this young woman is very talented. I love this song (Home to You), and predict it will be the winner at the Academy Awards for original song.
