Decca Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Discovery docu-series Why We Hate. The album features the show’s original music composed by Laura Karpman (Underground, Paris Can Wait, Step, Black Nativity). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Why We Hate is directed by Geeta Gandbhir & Sam Pollard, executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Alex Gibney & Frank Marshall and explores one of humanity’s most primal and destructive emotions – hate. The 6-parter traces the evolutionary basis of hate and uses stories from past and present to reveal the nature of the primal and universal emotion. The series premiered earlier this month and currently airs every Sunday night on Discovery. Visit the official show website for more information.
