Dominic Lewis has composed the original score for the upcoming action comedy My Spy. The film is directed by Peter Segal (Get Smart, Anger Management, Second Act) and stars Dave Bautista, Kristen Schaal, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Chloe Coleman and Ken Jeong. The movie follows a hardened CIA operative who has been demoted and finds himself at the mercy of a precocious 9-year-old girl where he has been sent undercover begrudgingly to surveil her family. Jon & Erich Hoeber (Red, The Meg) wrote the screenplay. Segal and Bautista are also producing the project with Chris Bender (A History of Violence, We’re the Millers), Jake Weiner (Criminal, Leap Year), Jonathan Meisner (Final Score), Robert Simonds (Problem Child, Happy Gilmore) and Gigi Pritzker (Drive, Ender’s Game). My Spy is currently scheduled to be released on January 10, 2020 by STX Entertainment. Visit the official movie website for updates.

As previously reported, Lewis (Peter Rabbit, The Man in the High Castle, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween) also has Matthew Vaughn’s The King’s Man (co-scored with Matthew Margeson) coming up and is also returning to score the fourth and final season of Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle (set to premiere on November 15) and Disney Channel’s DuckTales (coming back for a third season in 2020). The composer also has the Disney Channel and Disney Junior animated series The Rocketeer coming up. The show is developed and executive produced by Nicole Dubuc and features the voices of Kitana Turnbull, Frank Welker, Billy Campbell, Kathy Najimy and Callan Farris. The series is inspired by Dave Stevens’ comic book and Disney’s live action feature of the same title and follows Kit Secord after she learns she’s secretly next in line to become the rocket-pack wearing superhero. The Rocketeer will premiere on November 8 on the Disney Channel.
