Jeff Russo is composing the original music for the upcoming Apple TV+ original series For All Mankind. The show is created by Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica, Outlander), Matt Wolpert & Ben Nedivi and stars Joel Kinnaman, Michael Dorman, Wrenn Schmidt, Shantel VanSanten, Sarah Jones and Jodi Balfour. The sci-fi drama is told through the lives of NASA astronauts, engineers and their families and presents an aspirational world where NASA and the space program remained a priority and a focal point of our hopes and dreams. Moore, Wolpert and Nevidi are also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television production For All Mankind is set to premiere on November 1 on Apple TV+.
Russo’s other upcoming projects include CBS All Access’ Star Trek: Picard and USA’s Treadstone, as well as new seasons of Star Trek: Discovery, Fargo, among other shows. He also recently scored Noah Hawley’s feature Lucy in the Sky, which will be released in theaters on October 4.
