Marcelo Zarvos (Wonder, Fences, The Good Shepherd, Enough Said) is scoring the upcoming drama Human Capital. The film is directed by Marc Meyers (My Friend Dahmer) and stars Liev Schreiber, Marisa Tomei, Peter Sarsgaard, Maya Hawke, Alex Wolff, Paul Sparks, Aasif Mandvi and Fred Hechinger. The movie is based on Paolo Virzi’s 2014 Italian drama of the same title and centers on two families whose lives become fatefully intertwined following an impulsive business deal and a tragic hit-and-run accident. Oren Moverman (The Messenger, Rampart) wrote the screenplay and is also producing the project with Schreiber, Celine Rattray (The Kids Are Alright, Bernie), Matthew Stillman, Trudie Styler (Moon, Filth) and Bert Marcus (The American Meme). Human Capital will premiere next month at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival.
Zarvos also continues to score Showtime’s The Affair, which will return for its fifth and final season on August 25 and the Schreiber-starring Ray Donovan, which is set to return for its seventh and final season in 2020.
