Composer Keegan DeWitt (Hearts Beat Loud, Gemini, I’ll See You in My Dreams, The Hero) is reteaming with director Chad Hartigan on the upcoming sci-fi romance Little Fish. The film starring Olivia Cooke, Jack O’Connell, Raul Castillo and Soko focuses on a young married couple who fight to keep their love alive in the face of a mysterious pandemic that erases people’s memories. Mattson Tomlin wrote the screenplay based on an short story by Aja Gabel. He is also producing the project with Automatik’s Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Sinister, Midnight Special) & Rian Cahill, Tango’s Tim Headington (Hugo, The Tourist) & Lia Buman and Oddfellows Entertainment’s Chris Ferguson (Sweet Virginia, Boundaries). DeWitt has previously scored all of Hartigan’s previous features, including Morris from America and This Is Martin Bonner. Little Fish is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.
As previously reported, DeWitt also has Brett Haley’s Netflix movie All the Bright Places starring Elle Fanning & Justice Smith, the drama Broken Diamonds starring Ben Platt & Lola Kirke, as well as new seasons of HBO’s Divorce and Facebook Watch’s Sorry for Your Loss coming up.
