Michael Andrews (Donnie Darko, Bridesmaids, Daddy’s Home, Freaks & Geeks, Funny People, Bad Teacher) and DJ Greyboy have composed the original score for the new Netflix original movie Always Be My Maybe. The film is directed by Nahnatchka Khan (Fresh Off the Boat, Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23) and stars Ali Wong, Randall Park, Keanu Reeves, Michelle Buteau, Vivian Bang, Karan Soni, Charlyne Yi, Daniel Dae Kim, James Saito, Lyrics Born and Susan Park. The romantic comedy follows a famous chef and a hometown musician who reunite after fifteen years and feel the old sparks of attraction but struggle to adapt to each other’s worlds. Wong & Park also co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Golamco (Please Stand By). They are also producing the project with Good Universe’s Nathan Kahane (The House) & Erin Westerman (Ibiza). Always Be My Maybe will premiere on May 29 in select theaters and on May 31 on Netflix.
