Universal Music/Polydor Records will release the official soundtrack album for Danny Boyle’s musical romantic comedy Yesterday. The album features the Beatles covers from the movie performed by lead actor Himesh Patel, as well as a duet by Patel & Lily James. Also included is the film’s original score composed by Daniel Pemberton (Steve Jobs, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Ocean’s 8, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.). The soundtrack will be released on June 21, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon (digital version) and here (CD version). Yesterday directed by Boyle and written by Richard Curtis also stars Kate McKinnon and Ed Sheeran. The movie follows a struggling singer whose dreams are fading who wakes to discover that The Beatles have never existed and finds himself with a very complicated problem.
