Node Records will release a soundtrack album for the National Geographic documentary Free Solo. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (Logan, Scream, 3:10 to Yuma, The Hurt Locker, World War Z). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 9 and will be available to download on Amazon. Free Solo is directed by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi & Jimmy Chin and follows solo climber Alex Honnold, as he prepares to achieve his lifelong dream: scaling the face of the world’s most famous rock – the 3,200-foot El Capitan in Yosemite National Park – without a rope.
