Jeff Beal has recently recorded his score for the upcoming documentary The Biggest Little Farm. The film is directed by John Chester (Rock Prophecies, Euphoria) and follows the filmmaker and his wife Molly Chester, a culinary writer, who trade city life to start their own farm on a stretch of depleted soil outside Los Angeles. Chester is also producing the project with Sandra Keats who previously served as a co-producer and associate producer on the Beal-scored documentaries Generation Wealth and Last Call at the Oasis. The Biggest Little Farm is premiering today at the Telluride Film Festival and will have its international premiere later this month at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Beal’s upcoming projects also include the ABC drama Grand Hotel starring Demian Bichir & Roselyn Sanchez. The composer who has received his 18th Emmy Award nomination for his main titles theme for Showtime’s The Putin Interviews in July also recently scored the sixth and final season of Netflix’s House of Cards (set to premiere on November 2), as well as George Gallo’s feature drama Bigger, which will be released in select theaters on October 12 by Freestyle Releasing.
