Hollywood Records will release a new soundtrack album for the ABC drama Scandal. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Chad Fischer (Garden State, Private Practice, Chasing Mavericks, The Catch). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 19 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The release marks the second soundtrack for the hit series following an album featuring songs from the drama that was released in 2013. Scandal is created by Shonda Rhimes and stars Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope, a former media relations consultant to the President who left the White House to open her own firm, hoping to start a new career and a new personal life. The show’s seventh season currently airs every Thursday night on ABC. Visit the official show website for updates.
