Deutsche Grammophon has released the original song How Shall a Sparrow Fly from Scott Cooper’s western Hostiles. The track is written and performed by Ryan Bingham who previously co-wrote the Academy Award-winning song The Weary Kind from Cooper’s Crazy Heart. The song is now available as a digital single (visit Amazon to download) and will be also be included on the official soundtrack album for the film coming out next month. Hostiles starring Christian Bale, Rosamund Pike, Wes Studi, Jesse Plemons, Adam Beach, Rory Cochrane, Peter Mullan, Scott Wilson, Timothée Chalamet, Ben Foster and Q’orianka Kilcher is being released in select theaters this weekend by Entertainment Studios before expanding nationwide on January 19.
