David Norland is reteaming with director Sacha Gervasi on the upcoming HBO original movie My Dinner with Hervé. The film starring Peter Dinklage & Jamie Dornan centers on the unlikely friendship that evolves over one wild night in LA between a struggling journalist and actor Hervé Villechaize, the world’s most famous gun-toting dwarf, resulting in life-changing consequences for both. Andy Garcia, Mireille Enos, Oona Chaplin, Harriet Walter and David Strathairn are co-starring. Gervasi (Hitchcock) also wrote the teleplay based on a story by himself and Sean Macaulay. He is also executive producing the project with Steven Zaillian (The Night Of, Searching for Bobby Fischer), Richard Middleton, Ross Katz (Lost in Translation, In the Bedroom) and Jessica de Rothschild. Norland has previously collaborated with Gervasi on the documentary Anvil! The Story of Anvil and this year’s November Criminals, which just opened in select theaters last weekend. My Dinner with Hervé will premiere in 2018 on HBO.
