Evgueni and Sacha Galperine are reteaming with Barry Levinson on the upcoming HBO original movie Happy Valley. The film stars Al Pacino as Joe Paterno, who, after becoming the winningest coach in college football history, is embroiled in Penn State’s Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal. Riley Keough, Annie Parisse, Kathy Baker and Greg Grunberg are co-starring. Debora Cahn, John C. Richards (Nurse Betty) and David McKenna (American History X, Blow) wrote the script. Levinson (Rain Man, Good Morning, Vietnam) is also executive producing the project with Jason Sosnoff (The Humbling), Tom Fontana (Oz, Borgia0, Edward Pressman (The Crow, American Psycho) & Linday Sloane and Rick Nicita. The composers have previously scored Levinson’s previous HBO movie, The Wizard of Lies starring Robert De Niro & Michelle Pfeiffer. Happy Valley is set to premiere in 2018 on HBO.
