Victor Reyes is currently recording his score for the upcoming supernatural drama Down a Dark Hall. The film is directed by Rodrigo Cortes and stars AnnaSophia Robb, Isabelle Fuhrman, Noah Silver, Rosie Day and Uma Thurman. The movie is based on the 1974 novel by Lois Duncan and follows a boarding school student who confronts the darkly seductive powers of the headmistress and comes face to face with the supernatural abilities that could make her all-powerful or destroy her. Chris Sparling (Buried, Mercy) and Michael Goldbach (Daydream Nation) wrote the screenplay. Twilight author Stephenie Meyer is producing the project with Wyck Godfrey & Marty Bowen (The Maze Runner, The Fault in Our Stars) for Temple Hill Entertainment, as well as Adrian Guerra (Grand Piano) for Nostromo Pictures. Reyes is recording his music at Abbey Road Studios in London. The composer has previously scored Cortes’ previous features, The ContestantBuried and Red LightsDown a Dark Hall is expected to be released in 2018 by Lionsgate.

Reyes (The Night Manager) has also recently scored the psychological thriller Cold Skin, which was just released in Spanish theaters this past week.
