The Newton Brothers have been tapped to score the upcoming drama Kodachrome. The film is directed by Mark Raso (Copenhagen) and stars Jason Sudeikis, Ed Harris, Elizabeth Olsen, Bruce Greenwood and Dennis Haysbert. The movie is based on A.G. Jonathan Tropper (Banshee, This Is Where I Leave You) wrote the screenplay and is also producing the project with Ellen Goldsmith-Vein (The Maze Runner series, The Spiderwick Chronicle) & Eric Robinson for the Gotham Group, Dan Levine & Shawn Levy (Arrival, Stranger Things, Night at the Museum series) for 21 Laps Entertainment and Leon Clarance (Sense8). The composers have previously score the Goldsmith-Vein-produced Life of Crime Kodachrome is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.
As previously reported, the Newton Brothers (Oculus, Ouija: Origin of Evil, The Bye Bye Man) also have Mike Flanagan’s Gerald’s Game, as well as the horror thriller Cage Dive coming up.
