Marcus Miller has recently composed the music for the upcoming biographical drama Marshall. The film is directed by Reginald Hudlin and stars Chadwick Boseman, Josh Gad, Kate Hudson, Dan Stevens, James Cromwell, Sterling K. Brown and Keesha Sharp. Trial lawyer Michael Koskoff has written the screenplay with his son, Jacob Koskoff (Macbeth). Hudlin (Django Unchained) is also producing the project with Paula Wagner (Mission: Impossible series, The Last Samurai, Vanilla Sky) is producing through her Chestnut Ridge Productions banner along with Jonathan Sanger (The Elephant Man, The Producers). Miller (Everybody Hates Chris, About Last Night, I Think I Love My Wife) has previously collaborated with Hudlin on such features as Boomerang, The Ladies Man and Serving Sara. Marshall is expected to be released later this year by Open Road Films.
