Plaza Mayor Company will release a soundtrack album for the animated feature The Girl Without Hands (La jeune fille sans mains). The album features the film’s original music composed and performed by Olivier Mellano. The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 9, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list. The Girl Without Hands is written and directed by Sébastien Laudenbach based on a story by the Brothers Grimm. The movie is set in hard times, with a miller selling his daughter to the Devil. Protected by her purity, she escapes but is deprived of her hands. The animated film premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and will be released in France on December 16. GKIDS has picked up domestic distribution for a release in 2017.
