Dustin O’Halloran is set to compose the music for the upcoming drama Chappaquiddick. The film is directed by John Curran (The Painted Veil, Tracks, Stone) and stars Jason Clarke, Kate Mara, Ed Helms, Bruce Dern, Jim Gaffigan and Olivia Thirlby. The movie revolves around the tragic car accident that took the life of Mary Jo Kopechne when Senator Ted Kennedy crashed his car off a one-lane bridge in the summer of 1969. Taylor Allen and Andrew Logan have written the Black List-honored screenplay. Mark Ciardi (Miracle, The Rookie, McFarland, USA) and Campbell McInnes are producing the project for Apex Entertainment. Chappaquiddick is currently shooting and is expected to premiere in 2017.
O’Halloran also continues to score Amazon’s Transparent. His other recent projects include Garth Davis’ Lion starring Dev Patel, which will be released next month and the French thriller The Shadow of Iris.
I wonder if this will be a history revisionist movie that attempts to make the drunkard Ted out to be a victim or if it will tell the truth about this reprobate and what a slumber he really was?
Oops, meant to say “Scumbag” not “slumber”.
