It was announced today that Sia will be writing original songs for the upcoming drama Vox Lux. The film is directed by Brady Corbet (The Childhood of a Leader) and is set to star Rooney Mara. The movie is set between 1999 and the present day and chronicles the rise of ‘Celeste’ from the ashes of a major national tragedy to pop superstardom. Christine Vachon (Carol, Far from Heaven, I’m Not There, Boys Don’t Cry) and David Hinojosa (Nasty Baby, Goat) are producing the project for Killer Films, alongside Brian Young for Three Six Zero Entertainment. Vox Lux is set to start shooting in February of 2017. (Variety)
