Also premiering tonight in the U.S. is the television movie Churchill’s Secret directed by Charles Sturridge and starring Michael Gambon, Lindsay Duncan, Romola Garai, Matthew Macfayden, Bill Paterson, Daisy Lewis, Tara Fitzgerald, James Wilby and Rachel Stirling. Premiering on Friday, September 16, is the Amazon original series Fleabag created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge who also stars in the show alongside Sian Clifford, Brett Gelman, Olivia Colman, Bill Paterson, Hugh Dennis, Hugh Skinner, Jamie Demetriou and Jenny Rainsford. The show’s original music is composed by the creator’s sister Isobel Waller-Bridge. The comedy follows a dry-witted, sexual, angry, grief-riddled woman who hurls herself at modern living in London. Also premiering on Friday is the Netflix original movie ARQ written and directed by Tony Elliott and starring Robbie Amell, Rachael Taylor and Shaun Benson. Keegan Jessamy and Bryce Mitchell have composed the film’s original music. The sci-fi thriller follows a husband and wife living in a dystopic future who become trapped in a mysterious time loop that may have something to do with an ongoing battle between an omnipotent corporation and a ragtag band of rebels. Premiering on Saturday, September 17, is the indie drama Sister Cities directed by Sean Hanish and starring Jacki Weaver, Stana Katic, Jess Weixler, Michelle Trachtenberg, Troian Bellisario, Amy Smart, Alfred Molina and Tom Everett Scott. The film’s original music is composed by James T. Sale (Return to Zero, The Haunting of Molly Hartley). The comedy follows an actress who raises her three daughters while juggling the pressures of working in Hollywood and being a single parent.
