Johnny Jewel has recently composed the music for the upcoming Belgian drama Home. The film is directed by Fien Troch (Kid, Unspoken) and stars Sebastian Van Dun, Mistral Guidotti, Loïc Batog, Lena Suijkerbuijk, Karlijn Sileghem, Els Deceukelier, Robby Cleiren, Yavuz Saçikara and Els Dottermans. The movie explores three troubled teenagers’ relationships both with each other and the adult world around them. Troch has also written the screenplay with Nico Leunen who served as the editor on Ryan Gosling’s Lost River, which Jewel also scored. Antonino Lombardo is producing the project. Jewel’s previous scoring credits also include the A&E series Those Who Kill. He also contributed music to Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive and Bronson. Home will premiere next month at the Venice and Toronto International Film Festivals.
