The movie is set during World War II, when the island of Jersey was occupied by the Nazis and tells the true story of Louisa Gould, who took in an escaped Russian POW and hid him over the course of the war. Jenny Lecoat has written the screenplay. Daniel-Konrad Cooper (Big Significant Things) and Bill Kenwright (Cheri, Broken) are producing the project. Grigorov’s previous scoring credits include Lee Daniels’ Precious, Shadowboxer and The Paperboy. Another Mother’s Son is expected to premiere later this year.

Surprised Wallfisch is not scoring this. Summer in February was a solid score, even with all the winks to the late James Horner’s style.
Hope things go better for the Grigorov this time around.
