Goodfellas Records will release a soundtrack album for the Italian crime drama Gomorrah. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Mokadelic. Gomorrah is based on the best-selling non-fiction book by journalist Roberto Saviano and inspired by the 2008 feature directed by Matteo Garrone. The series developed by Giovanni Bianconi, Stefano Bises, Leonardo Fasoli, Ludovica Rampoldi and Roberto Saviano stars Marco D’Amore and Fortunato Cerlino. The drama is set in the suburbs of Naples and tells the inside story of the Camorra, the fierce Neapolitan crime organization. The show produced by the Weinstein Company will premiere in the U.S. on August 24, 2016 on SundanceTV.
