Josh Kramon announced on Twitter that he is composing the music for the upcoming Fox drama Lethal Weapon. The show is created by Matt Miller (Chuck, Human Target) and stars Clayne Crawford, Damon Wayans, Keesha Sharp, Jordana Brewster, Kevin Rahm, Chandler Kinney and Johnathan Fernandez. The show based on Richard Donner & Shane Black’s classic movie franchise starring Mel Gibson & Danny Glover follows the classic cop duo Martin Riggs & Roger Murtaugh as they work a crime-ridden beat in modern-day Los Angeles. Miller is also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television production with Dan Lin (Sherlock Holmes, The Lego Movie), Jennifer Gwartz and McG (Charlie’s Angels, We Are Marshall, This Means War) who also directed the pilot episode. Kramon has previously scored the Miller-created ABC drama Forever and also worked with the producers on Veronica Mars and Party Down. Lethal Weapon is set to premiere this fall and will air every Wednesday night on Fox.
Kramon also continues to score The CW’s iZombie, which will return for a third season this fall or in early 2017.
Background music sucks.
Too much, too loud, sounds like a Hallmark movie. Was expecting more sounds like the “Lethal Weapon” movie.
