David Newman Scoring Larry Charles’ ‘Army of One’

David Newman on a major movie…and one that sounds like something that DeVito could have directed? Can’t wait.
Just last week I was searching the web for confirmation of the assignment, but couldn’t find jack squat. I wonder where FMR found it.
Anyway, sounds like an interesting prospect. Thinking back to some of his more ethnic-influenced pieces from “Serenity”, I could see an interesting score with big orchestral moments when needed, coming out of this.
