Premiering tonight is the Nat Geo event series Saints & Strangers directed by Paul A. Edwards and starring Raoul Trujillo, Vincent Kartheiser, Ray Stevenson, Anna Camp, Ron Livingston, Natascha McElhone, Kalani Queypo, Tatanka Means, Brian F. O’Byrne, Barry Sloane and Michael Jibson. The 2-parter’s main theme is composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Pirates of the Carribbean, Inception) and the series’ music is written by Lorne Balfe (Terminator Genisys, 13 Hours: The Soldiers of Benghazi). Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack EP featuring the composers’ music. Check out our previous news article for the full details. A CD version is set for release in December.
Also premiering tonight is the animated special The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar featuring the voices of Rob Lowe, Gabrielle Union, James Earl Jones, Max Charles, Atticus Shaffer and Sarah Hyland. The Disney Animation Television production is a sequel to The Lion King and serves as an introduction to a TV series, which will premiere next year on the Disney Channel and Disney Junior. Chris Willis (Veep, Mickey Mouse) has composed the film’s and show’s original music. Beau Black has written the main title theme. Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album featuring music from the show on January 8, 2016. Click here for more information.
Premiering on Friday, November 27, is the WE tv original series South of Hell executive produced by Eli Roth & Jason Blum and starring Mena Suvari, Zachary Booth, Bill Irwin, Drew Moerlein, Lamman Rucker and Paulina Singer.
