Warner Bros. Pictures is submitting two original songs from the upcoming sports drama Creed for Oscar consideration. The first track, Waiting for My Moment, is written by the film’s composer Ludwig Goransson (Community, Fruitvale Station, New Girl, We’re the Millers), the movie’s director Ryan Coogler, rapper Vince Staples, and Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino. The second song, Grip, is written by Goransson, hip hop singer/songwriter Sam Dew and Tessa Thompson who also stars in the film. The full soundtrack details are expected to be announced soon. Creed is co-written and directed by Coogler and stars Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad and Anthony Bellews.
