Film Music Reporter

Singer/songwriter has been tapped to score the upcoming boxing drama Bleed for This. The film is written and directed by Ben Younger (Boiler Room, Prime) and stars Miles Teller as boxer Vinny Pazienza and Aaron Eckhart as his trainer Kevin Rooney. Katey Sagal, Amanda Clayton and Ciaran Hinds are co-starring.  The movie tells the story of the world champion fighter and his trained who helped him to come back to the ring after a near fatal car crash left him with a broken neck. Bruce Cohen (American Beauty, Milk, Big Fish), Emma Tillinger Koskoff (The Wolf of Wall Street), Younger, Chad Verdi & Noah Kraft (Loosies) are producing the project. Martin Scorsese (Taxi Driver, Good Fellas, The Departed) serves as an executive producer. The project marks the first major film project for Holter who is best known for her solo records, including her most recent album Have You in My Wilderness, which was released earlier this year. Bleed for This is set to be released in 2016 by Open Road Films.
