Antonio Pinto is reteaming with director Ric Roman Waugh on the upcoming thriller Shot Caller. The film stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lake Bell, Jon Bernthal, Benjamin Bratt and Holt McCallany. The movie follows a gangster recently released from prison who is forced to orchestrate a major crime on the streets of Southern California. Waugh has also written the screenplay and is producing the project with Michel Litvak (Whiplash, Nightcrawler, Drive) and Matthew Rhodes (Dark Places, Southland Tales) for Bold Films and Jonathan King (Snitch, The Good Doctor) for Participant Media. Pinto has previously scored Waugh’s last feature Snitch starring Dwayne Johnson. Shot Caller is currently in post-prodcution and is expected to be released in 2016.
The composer of such films as City of God, McFarland, USA Senna, Amy, The Host, Lord of War also has the Brazilian drama Little Secret coming up. The movie is directed by David Schurmann and stars Julia Lemmertz, Marcello Antony, Maria Flor, Erroll Shand and Fionnula Flanagan. A release in 2016 is expected.
Just saw this amazing movie, which had me completely entertained for its full length. Really made a deep impression, this is a must see for everyone – but the faint hearted.
Im very curious about the name of the music at the end scene. I really need to hear more of this, so who is the artist who did it?
