The full details of the soundtrack album for Danny Boyle’s biographical drama Steve Jobs have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Daniel Pemberton (The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Counselor, The Awakening). Also included are the songs featured in the movie by The Libertines, Bob Dylan and The Maccabees. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 9, 2015 and physically on October 23. Steve Jobs starring Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels, Katherine Waterston and Michael Stuhlbarg is written by Aaron Sorkin based on Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography of the Apple founder. The drama premiered at this year’s Telluride Film Festival and will be released in select cities on October 9 by Universal Pictures before expanding nationwide on October 23.
