Premiering tonight is the Spike TV event series Tut directed by David Von Ancken and starring Avan Jogia, Ben Kingsley, Alexander Siddig, Nonso Anozi, Iddo Goldberg, Peter Gadiot, Sibylla Deen and Kylie Bunbury. The show’s original music is composed by Jeff Russo (Fargo, The Returned, CSI: Cyber). Tut tells the story of Tutankhamun, aka King Tut, the youngest Pharaoh to rule Ancient Egypt, whose famous golden sarcophagus has become one of the symbols of the ancient civilization. Premiering on Wednesday, July 22, is the Syfy original movie Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! directed by Anthony C. Ferrante and starring Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Cassie Scerbo, David Hasselhoff, Bo Derek, Ryan Newman and Jack Griffo. Chris Cano and Chris Ridenhour have composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the film by artists including Camper Van Beethoven, Dead Kennedy’s East Bay Ray, Eddie Cole and Dave Days.
