The full details of the soundtrack album for the musical comedy sequel Pitch Perfect 2 have been revealed. The album features the songs from the film performed by the film’s cast, including the original song Flashlight written by Jessie J. Also included is a track from the movie’s original score composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (The Lego Movie, 21 Jump Street, The Royal Tenenbaums), as well as Jerry Goldsmith’s Universal Fanfare performed by Elizabeth Banks & John Michael Higgins. The soundtrack will be released this Tuesday, May 12 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Pitch Perfect 2 is directed by Elizabeth Banks and stars Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Rebel Wilson, Alexis Knapp, Adam DeVine and Hailee Steinfeld. The movie follows the Barden Bellas as they take to the world championships of a capella, where a U.S. team has never won before.
