Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief. The album features the film’s original music composed by Will Bates (Another Earth, I Origins, We Steal Secrets: The Story of Wikileaks). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 17, 2015 and physically on April 7. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD. Going Clear directed by Alex Gibney (Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room, Taxi to the Dark Side) is based on the book by Pulitzer Prize winner Lawrence Wright and profiles eight former members of the Church of Scientology, whose most prominent adherents include A-list Hollywood celebrities, shining a light on how the church cultivates true believers, detailing their experiences and what they are willing to do in the name of religion. The documentary premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in select cities this Friday and will also air on Sunday, March 29, 2015 on HBO. Visit the official movie website to learn more about the film.
