Intrada Records has announced the world premiere score album release for the 1989 sci-fi adventure comedy Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure directed by Stephen Herek and starring Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter & George Carlin. The film’s original music is composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee David Newman (Ice Age, Anastasia, The Flintstones, The Nutty Professor). The composer’s score was previously unreleased while a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the film was released when the film opened in 1989. Intrada also announced a new 2-CD set featuring two scores composed by Les Baxter. The album features the composer’s music from the 1961 film starring Master of the World starring Vincent Price & Charles Bronson and from the 1959 movie Goliath and the Barbarians.
