Premiering tonight on Showtime is the horror drama Penny Dreadful created by John Logan, executive produced by Sam Mendes & Pippa Harris and starring Eva Green, Josh Hartnett, Timothy Dalton, Reeve Carney, Rory Kinnear, Harry Treadaway, Billie Piper and Danny Sapani. The show’s original score is composed by Golden Globe nominee Abel Korzeniowski (A Single Man, W.E., Romeo & Juliet). Also premiering tonight is the NBC mini-series Rosemary’s Baby directed by Agnieszka Holland, based on the novel by Ira Levin and starring Zoe Saldana, Patrick J. Adams, Jason Isaacs and Carole Bouquet. Antoni Komasa-Lazarkiewicz who previously collaborated with Holland on her Oscar-nominated feature In Darkness and HBO’s Burning Bush has composed the series’ original music. Premiering on Saturday, May 17 on Lifetime is the drama Return to Zero written and directed by Sean Hanish and starring Minnie Driver, Paul Adelstein, Alfred Molina, Kathy Baker, Connie Nielsen, Andrea Anders and Sarah Jones. The film’s original music is composed by James T. Sale. The movie tells the true story of a couple who are devastated and break up after enduring a stillbirth but wind up reuniting when the wife becomes pregnant again.
