Lorne Balfe has composed the music for the new DreamWorks Animation short Almost Home. The 4-minute film introduces the characters of the studio’s upcoming feature Home directed by Tim Johnson (Over the Hedge) and featuring the voices of Steve Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Jim Parsons and Rihanna who is also writing songs for the film. Check out the short, which is also currently playing in theaters in front of Mr. Peabody & Sherman, after the jump. Balfe has previously co-scored DreamWorks Animation’s Megamind and will be scoring the studio’s upcoming The Penguins of Madagascar. No composer has been announced yet for Home, which will open nationwide on November 26, 2014.
