The reason I’ve ordered this (besides the fact that I like a good tribute album) is because Austin band Tele Novella is covering The Velvet Underground. I’ve been a HUGE fan of lead singer Natalie Gordon ever since she fronted the duo Agent Ribbons and am hoping that 2014 is her year to get the attention she so richly deserves. This girl has written a collection of songs worthy of their own tribute album, and I doubt that could be said for every other artist on this Wes Anderson compilation. I recommend that you pull up Agent Ribbons and Tele Novella on YouTube, Spotify, and Soundcloud and have a listen.
