Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the supernatural drama Byzantium. The album features the film’s score written by Academy Award-nominated composer Javier Navarrete (Pan’s Labyrinth, Wrath of the Titans). The soundtrack will be released on CD in the UK on July 8, 2013. No word yet on a domestic release date. Byzantium is directed by Neil Jordan and stars Saoirse Ronan, Gemma Arterton, Sam Riley, Jonny Lee Miller and Caleb Landry Jones. The movie follows two female vampires who wreak havoc on an unsuspecting English seaside community. The film premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and is being released in the UK this weekend. IFC Films has picked up domestic rights and will release the drama in select theaters on June 28 and on VOD on July 1. To learn more about the film, visit IFC’s official movie website.
