Premiering tonight is the HBO original movie Behind the Candelabra directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Michael Douglas, Matt Damon, Dan Aykroyd, Rob Lowe, Scott Bakula and Debbie Reynolds. Late composer Marvin Hamlisch (The Sting, The Way We Were) served as the executive music producer on the project. Premiering tomorrow, May 27 is the Lifetime original movie Ring of Fire directed by Allison Anders based on John Carter Cash’s narrative of his mother’s life, Anchored in Love: An Intimate Portrait of June Carter Cash and starring Jewel, Matt Ross, Frances Conroy and John Doe. Anton Sanko (The Possession, Rabbit Hole, Big Love) has composed the film’s original score. Ring of Fire follows June Carter Cash’s life from early childhood growing up in the rural mountains of Virginia to her relationship with Johnny Cash. Premiering today on Netflix is a new season of the comedy Arrested Development created by Mitchell Hurwitz and starring Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Portia de Rossi, Alia Shawkat, Tony Hale, David Cross, Jeffrey Tambor and Jessica Walter. Composer David Schwartz (Deadwood, Northern Exposure) who composed the music for the previous three seasons is back for the fourth season.
