Chris Tilton is scoring the pilot for the sci-fi cop buddy cop drama Human. The show is created by J.H. Wyman (The Mexican, Dead Man Down) and stars Karl Urban, Michael Ealy, Minka Kelly, Lili Taylor, Mackenzie Crook and Michael Irby. The project is set in the near future when all LAPD officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids and follows a respected police officer who has shut down emotionally after a tragic mission that claimed the lives of nine of his fellow elite officers. Brad Anderson (The Machinist, The Call) directed the pilot episode. Wyman is executive producing the Warner Bros. TV and Bad Robot production with J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk (Lost, Person of Interest, Star Trek). Tilton has previously worked together with Wyman on Fox’s Fringe, which recently ended it series run after five seasons. The composer also co-scored the Abrams-produced shows Alcatraz and Undercovers for Bad Robot. Fox is expected to announce in a few weeks if Human will be picked up to series.
