Marcelo Zarvos is currently scoring the romantic drama Look of Love. The film is directed by Arie Posin and stars Annette Bening, Ed Harris, Robin Williams, Amy Brenneman and Jess Weixler. The movie centers on a widow who meets a man looking exactly like her dead husband, and that connection rekindles old feelings. Posin has also co-written the screenplay with Matthew McDuffie. Julie Lynn (Mother and Child) and Bonnie Curtis (Albert Nobbs) are producing the Mockingbird Pictures production. Posin previously collaborated with composer James Horner on his first directorial effort, The Chumbscrubber. Look of Love was shot this spring in Los Angeles and is currently in post-production and is expected to be released in 2013.
Zarvos whose most recent theatrical releases include The Words and Won’t Back Down also has HBO’s Phil Spector biopic directed by David Mamet and starring Al Pacino and Helen Mirren coming up. Coming out in November is the found footage horror film The Bay directed by Barry Levinson about the aftermath of a viral outbreak on the Eastern Seaboard. The film recently premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and is set for a theatrical release on November 2, 2012 by Roadside Attractions. Check out the movie’s trailer below.
