The cover art for the soundtrack release of this summer’s tentpole picture The Amazing Spider-Man has been revealed. The album featuring the film’s original music composed and conducted by James Horner will be released in the US on July 3, 2012 and in several international markets the week before. Check out our previous article for the track list and visit Amazon to pre-order the album. Roughly five minutes of the score premiered today during Tim Burden’s Movie Magic show. The Amazing Spider-Man directed by Marc Webb and starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Sally Field and Denis Leary will be released nationwide on July 3 by Sony Pictures. decent samples of some cues from the movie. some are a nice throwback to Elfman’s score from the original. James Horner is usually right on. Looking forward to hearing more.
