Curb Records has announced the official soundtrack album for the drama The Last Ride inspired by the mysterious final days of country star Hank Williams’ mercurial life. The album features two tracks from the film’s score by Benjy Gaither, as well as a number of the country songs featured in the movie performed by artists including Jett Williams, Russ Taff, Rebecca Frasier, Wes Hampton, Sarah Johns, Doug Anderson, Michael English, Nathan Young and Johnny Cash & Waylon Jennings. The Last Ride directed by Harry Thomason and starring Henry Thomas, Jessie James, Fred Dalton Thompson, Kaley Cuoco and Stephen Tobolowsky tells the fact-based story about Hank Williams and his fateful last ride across country with an innocent young driver.
